There is a feature in MacOS caleld Dynamic Desktop which changes desktop wallpaper to match day/night. But Windows lacks this feature. So we'll see how we can duplicate it in Windows.
We'll make a slideshow Desktop Background that changes every 6 hours. First 6 hours, will be dark background. Next 12 hours, light background. Then the last 6 hours dark background. We're changing every 6 hours because Windows doesn't have an option to change background picture every 12 hours.
I'll show you the steps how can change the Desktop Background according to day/night
Step 1: Create a Folder which includes the the pictures that you want as background. Arrange the pictures as show in image below. Slideshow starts from 0:00 A.M and every 6 hours. So add the Dark Desktop Background in the first then the two Light Backgrounds and at last Dark Background. So we'll be adding 4 pictures in which two are the same.
The Windows Desktop Background Images are provided for Download at the end of the page.
You can Download the Folder from the link. (Download from Google Drive)
Step 2: Go back to your Desktop. Right click on it and click on Personalise.
Step 4: In the Background Tab, change Personalize your background from Picture to Slideshow. In the choose a picture album for slideshow, click on browse. Select the folder that you created in Step 1. Then, select 6 hours in change picture every drop-down menu. This will change the picture every 6 hours. (Remember to order your pictures)
