Physics is a hard subject. Physics is centered around developing problem-solving that is hard. Collisions have many equations and deep thinking problems. But this simulator can help you paint a picture of this topic so that you can understand the fundamentals of collisions. Choosing your own masses, velocities and coefficient of restitution and see the objects collide can give you a better understanding and love for the topic.
